How We Work

Cultural Exchange & College Readiness

Global Seed works with organizations around the world providing exceptional academic and experiential experiences for students and young professionals. Combining academic rigor with a cultural immersion “wraparound” experience focusing on short, medium, and long-term impact, Global Seed fulfills a unique niche.

The impact of international study and experience is well documented with significant numbers of participants reporting high levels of impact in the areas of personal development, academic commitment, intercultural and career development, etc.  According to the International Institute for Education (IIE), “More than 70 percent of respondents said their study abroad experience contributed to a significant degree of improvement in skills areas including intercultural skills, curiosity, flexibility/adaptability, confidence, and self-awareness. In addition, more than 50 percent noted significant gains in interpersonal and problem solving skills.”1 Moreover, over half of 4,500 survey respondents believe their study abroad experience contributed to a job offer at some point. Interestingly, this phenomenon is repeated across racial and socioeconomic lines.

From this platform, Global Seed identifies groups with specific goals and objectives and creates locally geared programming combining distinctive elements in producing powerfully impactful and tailored experiences.

Noted for attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of the communities where it operates, Global Seed is forging a new model in international study rooted in community, individual and group experience and academic achievement.
