Shortly after a new mayor of Bandung, Indonesia was inaugurated, CC+S Executive Director Dr. Deborah McKoy was invited to introduce the Y-PLAN methodology to the unique Bandung Creative City Experiment. With over 11 million inhabitants, Bandung is Indonesia’s second largest metropolitan area. CC+S trained over 50 local leaders seeking to bring design thinking to public service administration across the diverse communities throughout Bandung.

This was a unique opportunity to share the strengths of the Y-PLAN methodology not just for young people, but also for local civic leaders seeking to bring young people into local community planning and development.
